Editech’s
temporary service agreement and temp, temp-to-hire, and permanent placement
policies are outlined below:
At the request of clients, Editech provides resumes of
candidates to meet temporary services requirements as specified by client
representatives.
Clients recognize Editech’s employer-employee relationship
with Editech personnel and agree to discuss all matters concerning their
employment, job assignments, pay procedures, and so on with Editech.
Our clients acknowledge that provision of temporary services requires
a significant investment in recruiting, reference-checking, testing,
and selection.
Clients agree that utilization of candidates presented
by Editech on either a temporary or permanent basis within six months
from the date resumes are submitted shall be through Editech.
Clients further agree to pay Editech a minimum daily fee equal to four hours of work billed at the agreed-upon rate for all temporary assignments unless: (1) Editech has agreed to a shorter schedule, (2) the temporary employee leaves work early of his/her accord, or (3) the temporary employee is not performing up to the client's expectations. In addition, any hours worked by an Editech employee in excess of forty in a workweek (beginning Saturday and ending Friday) will be charged at time and a half.
If a client desires to hire a candidate on a permanent
basis, the client will notify Editech of this intent. As a temp-to-hire,
the candidate will remain on Editech’s payroll for a period of
520 hours from the date of notification. For a permanent placement,
a fee will be paid to Editech by the client before the candidate’s
first day of employment as a client employee.
