we receive your resume and references, staff members at Editech will
review your qualifications to determine the types of job assignments
or placements we might be able to offer you. If we have an open assignment
or we think your skills might match future opportunities with our agency,
we’ll schedule an appointment with you to come to our office for
an interview and testing session.
Depending on the type of assignments you’re
looking for, you may be asked to take online software tests or hard-copy
proofreading and editing tests. For desktop-design or writing assignments,
we also ask to see samples from your portfolio.
For those candidates who pass our screening process,
we serve as your liaison with our clients, and we urge you to call us
when your availability or skills change, when you have a concern about
a job assignment, or when you’re curious about the status of an
open position. One of the benefits of working with a smaller, more personal
agency is that we get to know each other. We become familiar with your
qualifications and job requirements, and you know that we’re working
to find the best fit between your skills and our clients’ needs. |
